On November 19, the Housing Forum 2025 will take place under the theme “Homes That Build Stability. How affordable housing strengthens social and economic resilience.”

The annual Housing Forum of Habitat for Humanity Poland is a cross-sectoral event dedicated to housing, organized consistently for the past ten years. Each year, it brings together around 200 participants: policymakers, representatives of public administration and local governments, business and development sectors, social organizations, researchers, urban planners, and community activists. This year’s edition, titled “Homes That Build Stability”, will provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and good practices on affordable housing and its role in strengthening social and economic resilience and supporting Poland’s development. Discussions will focus on affordable housing as a tool for strengthening communities and driving the development of cities and regions, including the interconnections between housing policy, climate action, and social cohesion. Participants will also examine challenges related to energy efficiency and climate change in the context of construction and the renovation of existing housing stock. Further discussions will address the adaptive reuse of vacant buildings and innovative social rental models, which can expand the availability of housing for people with diverse needs. Particular attention will be given to housing and social resilience—understood as the capacity of communities to respond to economic, climate, and demographic challenges through stable and accessible housing solutions. Another important topic will be the role of EU cohesion policy and European funding frameworks in supporting and financing housing development in Poland. The conference will be bilingual (Polish/English) and will serve as a forum for dialogue among representatives of government, business, civil society, and academia. The event will feature networking opportunities, partner presentations, and media presence. The Forum will be widely covered across Habitat for Humanity Poland’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X).
